Against all odds, a team was born...

What started out as a few clinics became periodic practices and the kids kept coming every week. We talked about becoming something more legitimate and forming a team. A couple of weeks later we went ahead and began working in forming a local rugby club with players between the ages of 11 and 15. With the help of a couple of parents and the massive effort from our players, we founded the Weston Youth Rugby Club in the early Spring of 2008

Who is WRFC?

We are a community rugby club and registered non-profit with players aged between 11 and 15 years old. The club began as a way to get younger siblings of the high school team involved and rugby; we ran clinics and one off practices. As the numbers grew, so did out drive. What started out as rugby clinics grew into a very competitive youth rugby club in the South Florida. At our highest, we encompassed over 40 active players but touched the lives of many more.
